Perfectly Imperfect Pups Mission

Perfectly Imperfect Pups (PIPs) is creating a better world for at-risk dogs, with a focus on those with special needs, by building a community of like-minded people through advocacy, education, fostering and adoption.

At PIPs we believe….

  • In welcoming the challenges of rescue work with responsible compassion
  • We are strongest when our community partners with us
  • All dogs deserve a champion
  • Every dog and every person deserves a place to belong

The reality of a rescue that focuses on special needs is it costs more to run, to maintain and to care for the PIP-abled. Often special needs dogs or those that require more medical care sit in the shelters with little interest but in all reality they need to be pulled faster than other dogs.

They can not wait for us to fundraise for them.

We can’t put off surgeries and treatments while we raise money.

They need us NOW! They need the medical treatment NOW! They need out of the shelter NOW.

Help us SAY YES

~ To getting them out of the shelter
~ To getting them to the specialty vets they need
~ To getting those life saving  surgeries

Our goal is to  raise $20,000 by the end of the year. This amount covers just a portion of what we have spent on non-routine medical in just a little over a year since we opened.

Reaching our goal will help us say YES to things like:

  • Leg repairs
  • Amputations
  • Physical therapy
  • Eye repair
  • Wheelchairs,
  • Speciality vets
  • Training for our PIP-Abled
  • And so much more….
