About our Rescue

We take in dogs that a lot of rescues shy away from. Many of these dogs have higher medical or special needs that make them harder to place and therefore put them at higher risk for euthanization. We call these dogs that we rescue “PIP-Abled” after our namesake “Perfectly Imperfect Pups.” We work with their imperfections to find the perfect homes for them.

In The News

PIPs have been featured on multiple local news stations, nationally recognized on shows like Live with Kelly & Ryan and The Dodo. We have a global impact takings in pups from all over the world meanwhile growing our social media channels. Check out some of interviews!

Some of the cases we have taken into our rescue:

  • Major orthopedic surgeries
  • Leg amputations
  • Paralyzed dogs in need of wheelchairs
  • Heartworm positive dogs
  • Blind and/or deaf dogs
  • Dogs with neurological issues
  • Severely injured dogs in need of extended care and rehabilitation
  • Seniors
  • Dogs with major skin issues
  • Dogs with Megaesophagus
  • Pregnant dogs

The care needed to help in the cases listed above can average $3,500+ to diagnose and treat. Committing to being a PIPs Champion helps us off-set the costs and give these pups the care they need and a chance at a happier, healthier future.
